Dolphin House Snorkeling Trip from Hurghada

Dolphin House is a marine area in the Red Sea off Hurghada, known locally by that name. It is not a building or an aquarium: it is a natural dolphin habitat and reef area, where boats take visitors to see, and sometimes swim with, wild dolphins in their natural environment.

The trip

After hotel pickup in Hurghada, the boat takes you out into the Red Sea to the Dolphin House area. Depending on the weather and on whether dolphins are present, you have the chance to see and swim near them. You also snorkel at coral reef spots with colorful fish and marine life, accompanied by a snorkeling guide; snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) and a life jacket are provided. Lunch and soft and hot drinks are served on board, and optional water games such as banana boat rides may be available.

The trip lasts about 7–8 hours and returns to Hurghada in the mid- to late afternoon.

Dolphin sightings

Seeing dolphins is a highlight of the trip. Sightings are common, but they cannot be 100% guaranteed because the dolphins are wild animals.
