About this trip

This private 3-day tour takes you from Hurghada to Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel in a private air-conditioned vehicle with a driver and an Egyptologist guide. Two hotel nights, breakfasts and lunches, entrance fees to the major sites, and hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada are included.

Day 1: Luxor

After an early pickup in Hurghada around 5:00 AM, you drive to Luxor to visit Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings with the tombs of the pharaohs, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch is served during sightseeing.

Day 2: Aswan

In Aswan you visit Philae Temple, the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, with lunch in town and a night in an Aswan hotel.

Day 3: Abu Simbel

An early departure, often before sunrise, takes you on the 3-hour drive to Abu Simbel and the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Twice a year, the rays of the rising sun illuminate the statues of the gods in the temple of Ramses II. After lunch on the road or back in Aswan, you drive back to Hurghada, arriving by evening with drop-off at your hotel.
