About this trip

The Super Safari from Hurghada combines quad biking or a dune buggy ride, a camel ride and desert sightseeing. It is designed for adventure seekers and offers an authentic glimpse of Bedouin life in the Egyptian desert.

An air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle picks you up at your hotel. You then ride a quad bike or buggy through sand dunes, desert tracks and valleys, with safety gear and instructions provided, followed by a short camel ride. At a Bedouin village you learn about Bedouin culture, traditional clothing, music and lifestyle, and tea and snacks are often served.

The meal is served at a desert camp, usually as a buffet that may include grilled meat, salads and traditional dishes. If you like, try sandboarding down the dunes. The last stop is a high dune with panoramic views of the desert sunset before the transfer back to your hotel.

  1. Hotel pickup

    Transfer in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle. Your pickup time is scheduled one day before the trip.

  2. Quad bike or buggy ride

    Ride through sand dunes, desert tracks and valleys. Safety gear and instructions are provided.

  3. Camel ride

    A short ride through the desert to experience traditional Bedouin travel, with time for photos of the dunes and wildlife.

  4. Bedouin village

    Stop at a Bedouin village and learn about Bedouin culture, traditional clothing, music and lifestyle. Tea and snacks are often served.

  5. Meal at a desert camp

    Usually a buffet-style meal that may include grilled meat, salads and traditional dishes.

  6. Sandboarding (optional)

    Slide down the sand dunes; suitable for all ages.

  7. Sunset view

    Stop at a high dune for panoramic photos of the desert sunset.

  8. Return to your hotel

    Transfer back to your hotel.
